SPRING
SNOWFLAKES
On a
promontory floating over the Wallowa Valley in Oregon, home of
the indigenous people known as the Nez Perce, who
first bred the Appaloosa; this
colt, like all young ones, is surrounded by the Ancients.
The
distinctive markings of this Appaloosa is called "Snowflake" or
"Leopard" pattern.
The
youngster is continually surprised by the discovery of creation's old and
constant truths--the butterfly, the breeze, each new spring.
It is
my hope that the viewer, too, will continue to discover creation's old truths in unique new ways, sharing the awe of Spring Snowflakes.
